Revise positional and directional language:

Hide a piece of fruit or a toy and see if you can give someone in your home some instructions to find it using forwards, backwards, left and right.

Can you explain what mistake Tommy has made?

Did you say that Tommy has read the minute hand as showing the number of minutes past the hour, rather than understanding that the minute hand pointinto 6 means half past. The time is half past one!
