Writing

We are going to continue creating a fact book about reptiles. You have written about what a reptile is. The next part will be about where reptiles live. Don’t forget to add this to your contents page.

Add any interesting facts that you know about reptiles.

Remember to use small finger spaces (the same size as a letter) and some of the information from the reptile fact book.

Modelled example:

Handwriting

Abracadabra family- Practice o and d. Write the letters 6 times each. Have a go at writing cod, cad, code, dod, dad, did. Can you use some of these words to write a sentence?

Spelling

come , were, there, little

Write these words three times each.

Maths practice

  1. Count 1-50. Shuffle the 1-50 cards you have made and see how long it takes you to put them in the correct order. You could time yourself to see how long it takes. Ask someone to take a card away – can you work out which number is missing?
  2. Write the following numbers in dienes: 32, 14, 17, 43, 49, 22,
  3. You know how to count in 5s. Practise your 5x table. How many can you write down without looking?
